Vodka Skin Care Tips

Ladies and gentleman, whenever someone yells VODKA, we know exactly what’s coming. It’s time to party, make some crazy memories. A whole night of “This is my last drink” followed by “Oh god, why didn’t you stop me!” the next morning.

But who would’ve thought that this intoxicating liquor is more than just that. Definitely not good for the liver but a perfect match for your skin, hair, feet, etc. So the next time, when you wake up from that horrible hangover and find that half empty bottle of vodka lying around, make the most of it, and no, not by downing it. Use it for your hair and skin. Here are a few hidden benefits of vodka that you can use.

hair

HAIR- Who doesn’t wish to have shiny, bouncy, silky hair, but unless you’re naturally blessed, getting that look usually involves a few rounds of hair dryers, serums and what not. Vodka can help reduce the frizziness in your hair. So if you’re looking to undo that Medusa look, that you really weren’t going for, use Vodka as a hair mask, mix it with honey/ onion juice (also helps with hair loss). Leave the mask on for 30 minutes and then rinse with a mild shampoo. Do this about once a week and you’ll be amazed by the results.

Face

SKIN- Yes, you can use Vodka for your skin, as weird as it sounds, it definitely works. (Although, if you have sensitive skin, it is advised to test it out a small area first). Here is a quick and easy trick that will help cleanse and tighten your pores. Mix vodka with brewed green tea and then apply it on your face. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Feet

FEET- Stinky feet are just plain embarrassing. But here’s an easy way to get rid of it. One way is to soak a dry cloth in vodka and then rub it across your feet. Another way is to make a mixture of cinnamon powder (3tbsp) and vodka and then dip your feet inside it for about 10 minutes. This will leave your feet feeling fresh and odour-free.

Advice

Personal Advice

  • Make sure the Vodka you’re using is branded, because you’re going to be using it on your skin.
  • Make sure the Vodka isn’t expired.

Now that you know these benefits, go ahead and pamper yourself.
